ABOUT THE ARTIST
ROADWORN HANDMADE by KARA HESSE was born out of boredom while on long stretches of road, touring with her band; a happy accident that has become an extension of her music and a creative space for the in-between.
Native to the Wichita plains and raised in Boulder, CO, Kara's midwestern roots seep through her sultry voice and songwriting with an eclectic blend of soul and rock 'n roll. Her songs have been placed on television shows including CBS Scorpion and DirecTV’s You Me Her. She has shared the stage with such acts as B.B. King, Al Green, Buddy Guy, Steve Miller Band, Howie Day and more. She has self-released two albums, Better By Morning (2014) & Sojourner (2018).
